Membership
Houston Area Hound Association is an association of sighthound and scenthound owners but all responsible pet owners are welcome. Our purpose is to encourage sportsmanlike competition at show and performance events.
Membership is open to
everyone but we are especially interested in attracting individuals who live in the Houston area, an area
which includes Harris county, and all counties adjoining Harris
(Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Liberty, Montgomery and
Waller). Those living outside these areas may join as Associate Members.
There are several types of membership.
| Individual/Regular | Full voting rights | $10.00 per year |
| Household | Two adults with full voting rights. Household members under 18 without voting rights. | $15.00 per year |
| Associate | Non-voting | $7.50 per year |
| Junior (under 18) | Non-voting | $5.00 per year |

HAHA holds an Annual Club Meeting in December either in conjunction with a December show or coursing event. Prospective members are welcome to attend. Please check our website for details.
The HAHA Board of Directors holds quarterly meetings.
